Cathy M.
Cathy has been part of the family at Crooked Creek Animal Hospital since 2017. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from Huffman High School. In 1992, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to joining the staff at Crooked Creek, she worked at another animal clinic for 13 years. Cathy is married to Tony and has two children, Shannon and Chad. She has four grandchildren, Brianna, Conner, Cale, and Callie in addition to a great grandchild named Memphis. Her pet family includes Bigg Bad, Little Red, Atti, Creed, and Finn. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys finding homes for stray pets.
Haley C.
Haley is a graduate of Pelahatchie High School’s Class of 2011. She continued her education at East Mississippi Community College where she was a student athlete for 2 years before transferring to Mississippi State State University. At Mississippi State, Haley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Dairy Science with a concentration in Veterinary Science and a minor in Biology. Haley, her husband Ryan, and their children, Ripken, Lottie, and Posey are residents of Scott County and attend Pinelake Church. She enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. Haley has lots of fur babies: dogs, Tank, Cash, Rivie, Birdie, Sam, Pip, and Cricket, a cat named Sully, a goat named Petunia, a sheep named Dolly, Candy the miniature pony, and Rowdy a roan quarter horse, as well as some chickens. Haley has been a part of the Crooked Creek family since 2012 and thoroughly enjoys caring for all of God’s creatures.
Diane P.
Diane has been with the Crooked Creek Animal Hospital team since 2021. She has an Associate’s Degree in Marketing from Hinds Community College. Diane and her husband, Ricky, have a daughter named Ally. Their pet family includes dogs, Poppy, Dallas, Dixie, and Stetson, a cat named Myrtle, a rabbit named Dutchess BunBun, and birds, Magnolia and PetSmart.
Cynthia A.
Cynthia has been with Crooked Creek Animal Hospital since 2019. She graduated from Pelahatchie High School and then attended Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Elementary Education. Cynthia taught school for 30 years before joining the staff at Crooked Creek. Cynthia and her husband, Charles, have two children, Chase and Alana. Their pet family includes Cooper, Doobee, Forrest, Honey, Leo, Midnight, Roscoe, Sadie Belle, Sancho, Harriet, Duncan, and Maggie.
Lynn B.
Lynn is from Pelahatchie, Mississippi. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education for grades K-8. She joined the family at Crooked Creek Animal Hospital in September of 2015. Lynn started out as a part time receptionist following her retirement from the Mississippi Air National Guard with 33 years of military service. She has one daughter named Ashley, and her pet family includes six dogs. Lynn is an animal lover and enjoys spoiling your fur babies when they board with us. She is a member of Crossgates Baptist Church and enjoys being a member of the worship choir. She also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and working outside on her tractor.
Misty H.
Misty is a native Texan and she married and moved to Mississippi in 1989. She has two children, two dogs, two grandchildren, and two granddogs. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Ema C.
Ema became a member of the staff at Crooked Creek Animal Hospital in 2024. She graduated from Brandon High School in 2024. She is attending East Central Community College and anticipates graduating in May of 2025. Ema plans to attend school for veterinary ultrasound training and education. Her experience in the veterinary industry includes working for three years at a private animal clinic and working at Faithful Pups Professional Dog Grooming.
Ema’s family includes her mom, Christy and dad, Steven as well as her two sisters, Madison, and Julia. She also has three dogs, Dolly, Henley, and Leo, and two horses, Journey, and Reba. In her free time, Ema loves hunting and horseback riding. A fun fact about Ema is that she got the nickname “Smiley” when she was young because she is always smiling.
